At the address Štorje 27 an inn has stood ever since 1830. Since 1962, when the property was bought by grandpa Milan, it has been owned by the Skok family, who has continued the tradition of hospitality. 

Back then grandma Liljana designed the still well-known brand “Gostilna Slovenija” (Slovenia Inn), with its marked range of culinary delights: hand-carved prosciutto and Karst teran, yota with sausage, homemade gnocchi, wild game, and other specialties. The principle of serving what grows in the garden and is raised in the barn is a tradition the Skoks follow to this day. Since 2006, guests have been able to stay the night in addition to getting a delicious meal. 

The Skok farm is a great starting point for cyclists, not just due to its proximity to the jewels of the Karst like Štanjel, Lipica, and Postojna cave, but also because of the bicycle garage. Upon prior agreement you can tour the stables or even take a horse-drawn carriage ride.
