You can find the Lupinc agrotourism farm in the Karst village of Praprot on the Italian side of the border. This village with its treasures of vineyards, hidden in the shelter of the hills of the Karst, is just a stone’s throw from the seaside. The village offers a stunning view of the Gulf of Trieste. It is also ideal for recreation and exploring the past. In addition to the Gemina trail, which weaves its way through the Karst countryside, trenches from WWI can also be found on foot. The loop, which takes visitors back in time to the WWI, is maintained by the owner of the Lupinc farm himself.
The Lupinc homestead has a long tradition of farming and winemaking, and also offers rooms and suites to guests. Under the canopy of a large garden you are welcome to try some of the homemade specialties made from grandma’s recipes, or even have a picnic. With advance notice, the Lupinces will be happy to give you a tour of their wine cellar and prepare a tasting flight for you.
